Specialized Housing and Prevention Committees
Innovation Committee
Focus: Explores progressive ideas and new models for the system, such as shared housing and advanced prevention strategies.
Open to: The community, partner agencies and CoC members
Meets: Monthly
System Oversight and Data Committees
Point-in-Time Count Planning Committee
Focus: Plan and implement the annual count of unsheltered individuals to help the community understand the scale of need.
Open to: Representatives of non-profit agencies operating emergency shelters, the coordinated point of access to emergency shelter, outreach, rapid re-housing, local homeless advocacy groups, and other social service agencies.
Meets: Annually in the fall and until the annual Point-in-Time count is completed and all counting is finalized.
Access and Impact Committee
Focus: Guides the development and implementation of a crisis response system rooted in lived experience and data-driven best practices to ensure that all individuals and families have access to safe, affordable housing, while promoting fair treatment, shared responsibility, and responsive resource allocation across the system.
Open to: Partner Agencies and CoC Members

Lived Experience and Advocacy Committees
Citizens Advisory Council (CAC)
Focus: This group brings together individuals with lived experience of homelessness to share insights, inform decision-making, and help improve programs and services.
Open to: Individuals ages 25+ who are currently experiencing homelessness or have experienced homelessness.
Meets: Monthly
Youth Action Board (YAB)
Focus: YAB provides a platform for individuals who have experienced homelessness to share their perspectives, guide system improvements, and inform community policies and practices.
Open to: Individuals, ages 18-24, currently and formerly experiencing homelessness.
Meets: Monthly
