HUD Continuum of Care Application

FY2026 Notice of Funding Opportunity

The FY2026 Continuum of Care Competition and Youth Homeless Demonstration Program Grants Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) was released on June 1, 2026. As a result, the CoC is currently soliciting Local Applications for the FY2026 CoC program funding round for the following project types:

  • Renewal Projects (PSH, Joint TH-RRH, SSO, CE, DV Bonus and YHDP);
  • New and Transition Projects (TH, SSO, CE, DV Bonus and YHDP).

Applicants are required to submit a Local Application by July 22, 2026, at 5:00 pm.

Weekly NOFO Technical Assistance (TA) sessions

Thursdays from 9:30-10:30 am
July 2, 2026 through August 13, 2026

Community Shelter Board is hosting two specialized information sessions to support provider applicants.

Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program (YHDP) Provider CoC NOFO Session

July 2, 2026 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. (Q&A to be posted in FY2026 folder below)
July 13, 2026 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm.
Designed for youth providers to review FY2026 NOFO requirements, competition updates, and project expectations.

Domestic Violence (DV) Provider CoC NOFO Session

July 6, 2026 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. (Q&A posted in FY2026 folder below)
July 14, 2026 from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
Designed for DV Renewal / Bonus funding opportunities, competition requirements, and the application process. 

These sessions are intended for current and prospective OH-503 provider partners preparing for the FY2026 CoC competition.

We encourage all eligible agencies to participate.

FY2026 CoC Builds Notice of Funding Opportunity

The FY2026 Continuum of Care Builds Competition Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) was released on June 23, 2026. As a result, the CoC is currently soliciting Local Applications for the FY2026 program funding round for the following project types:

  • 578.43 Acquisition, 578.45 Rehabilitation, 578.47 New Construction.

Applicants are required to submit a Local Application by July 14, 2026, at 5:00 pm.

CoC NOFO Application Orientation

Community Shelter Board is hosting a CoC NOFO Application Orientation to support providers in completing applications and budget templates.
The CoC Board met on September 12, 2022 and the full CoC met on September 20, 2022 to review the 2022 CoC Application and rank Project Applications according to the 2022 CoC Review, Score, and Ranking Procedures. Please see below for the CoC Consolidated Application, CoC Priority Listing, and the CoC's decision for the ranked position of the project applications. The CoC accepted all projects but one. No projects were reduced. No renewal projects were placed in Tier 2. Renewal YHDP, CoC planning, and UFA projects were accepted and not ranked, per HUD’s guidance.
The CoC Board met on October 25, 2021 and the full CoC met on November 4, 2021 to review the 2021 CoC Application and rank Project Applications according to the 2021 CoC Review, Score, and Ranking Procedures. Please see below for the CoC Consolidated Application, CoC Priority Listing, and the CoC's decision for the ranked position of the project applications. The CoC accepted all projects. No projects were rejected or reduced. No renewal projects were placed in Tier 2. Replacement YHDP, CoC planning, and UFA projects were accepted and not ranked, per HUD’s guidance.
The 2020 Continuum of Care competition was replaced with a non-competitive renewal process, per the 2021 Consolidated Appropriations Act.
